The 2015-2018 Steinbrenner U.S. Environmental Sustainability Fellow
Kerim Dickson (Faculty Advisors: David Dzombak and Jared Cohon). The topic for Kerim’s PhD research is “Interbasin Water Transfers in the Contiguous United States.”
Kerim is developing an inventory of current interbasin water transfers in the contiguous U.S., and will be investigating the factors that drive interbasin water transfers, including population, electric power production, agriculture, and climate change. He also plans to investigate the potential for local or regional water transfer networks considering climate change and population growth.
