When Will Cars Be Self-Driving?

Metro21 Director Raj Rajkumar participated in a conversation with experts in the field of autonomous vehicles to discuss what the future holds in the recent Wall Street Journal article, "When Will Cars Be Self-Driving?"

"We are used to the notion of humans causing automotive crashes, but since AVs are a new phenomenon, even a single crash or fatality receives outsizeattention from the media and the public. There have been perhaps 30 or so fatalities to date, but they are dwarfed in number compared with the roughly 40,000 highway deathsevery year in the U.S. alone.
