Karen Lightman delivers Keynote Remarks at President's Partner Recognition Breakfast
Metro21's Executive Director Karen Lightman was invited to be the Keynote Speaker at Waynesburg University's President's Partner Recognition Breakfast on July 23. The event, which brought together
community leaders, corporations, and foundations, expressed appreciation for the positive impact the President's Partners have had on Southwestern Pennsylvania. Karen highlighted the growing relationship between Carnegie Mellon University and Waynesburg University via Metro21's research and engagement. Following the 2018-2023 strategic plan released by Waynesburg University, themes of hands-on learning experiences, affordability, and community recognition will continue to supply outcomes and value for Southwestern Pennsylvania.
