Metro21 Lunch and Learn: Advancing Industry Via Design – A Case from the Netherlands

On Tuesday April 9, 2019, Metro21 is hosting KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Delft University of Technology for a Lunch & Learn at 12:00 pm in Hamburg Hall Room 1002.

The value of design to business is well established. However, much of the innovation challenges facing industry today force new paradigms into traditional enterprises; digitization; circular economy; agile ways of working; increased transparency between customer and business.

Design as a strategic force (beyond products and services) has emerged in this time as a way to frame and solve complex innovation problems. This talk will showcase what design as a strategic force can achieve through collaboration between academia and the aviation industry.

We hope you can join us to learn more about the potential to design a better future on April 9.
