RAMP Project Surveys to Begin

Waynesburg University has announced that they will be conducting surveys focused on transportation throughout Greene County during spring and summer 2022 as part Carnegie Mellon University's Rural County Mobility Platform (RAMP) project.

“We’re happy to see these two universities work together to better understand transportation challenges in Greene County,” said Greene County Commissioner Mike Belding. “We support this project and hope that our community, too, will support and provide information through the surveys to help ensure its success.”

The team will engage Greene County residents in a process of “human-centered design” to ensure that the pilots are developed with the input of the targeted clientele. The study will also include ongoing data collection from riders, volunteers and shuttle services with the aim of improving the system design throughout the project.
