Carnegie Mellon University
BiblioTech Labs currently has two projects underway.  We are always seeking additional undergraduate students or groups of students willing to use the University Libraries to introduce new technological ideas.
Student researchers Sunny Gakhar, Rajat Mehndiratta, Varun Ramesh and David Simon are developing a chair that will help the user stay focused, efficient and perhaps even well rested while studying in the library.  Struggle Chair has a project wiki on the Build 18 web site for more information.
Student researchers Shashwat Srivastava, Ameya Kamat, Nora Shoemaker, Clayton Ritcher and Parag Srivastava are developing a seat occupancy tracking capability for the Sorrells Library's recliners.  Library Resource Tracker has a project wiki on the Build 18 web site for more information and Clayton Ritcher has further information on his personal web site.
