Announcing the 2024 GenAI Fellows
Building on the momentum of the 2023 genAI fellows, we are deepening our engagement with genAI as applied to business problems.
The 2024 genAI fellows will develop targeted research proposals to formulate and suggest methodologies for solving a business research problem facilitated by genAI, or study the management challenges or impact of genAI on businesses and the economy.
Projects include:
- exploring techniques for using generative AI to enhance human decision making in contexts where groups need to balance optimal output with the need for diverse inputs.
- researching ethical policies that should guide the development of companies’ benchmarks for safety and fairness.
- studying the extent to which generative AI can facilitate proactive information acquisition, helping organizations anticipate future requirements and collect corresponding information.
Collarative AI: transforming business education
At the core of the Tepper School’s strategic plan is Collaborative AI, and we are happy to announce the 2024 cohort of coAI fellows to engage in using this integrated simulation of complex human and system behavior to transform business education and research.
Our long-term goal is to transform our own curriculum at Tepper, and ideate new and unique alternatives to traditional business cases. The coAI fellows will develop new educational modules in their courses for the upcoming academic year.
Projects include:
- designing an AI ethics coach that guides students through ethical debates, offering tailored feedback on policy decisions and reinforcing the use of ethical frameworks for real-world dilemmas.
- creating an AI-focused learning module that will help students craft targeted social media strategies by collaborating with AI tools to analyze audiences, create prompts, and design messages.
- build an AI feedback tool that aids students in providing constructive, actionable peer feedback aimed at improving both content and delivery.
