Sample preparation for Flow
Cells must be in a single cell suspension to run on the Flow, filter if needed with a 40 Micron mesh filter. There are many cell dissociation techniques to acheive this for example Trypsin, Cell Stripper, Cold PBS and Scraping.
The cell concentration should be anywhere from 1 million to 10 million cells/ML. This will depend on whether you are analyzing or sorting cells.
The smallest sample size the machine can handle is about 250 microliters.
Pay attention to cell cultures, if contaminated cells should not be brought for Flow.
