Announcing the 2018-2019 Official Academic Calendar

The Pittsburgh 2018-2019 academic year calendar is now official and posted at www.cmu.edu/hub/calendar. The campus community may initiate calendar-based planning for the next academic year. Please note the following:

• Fall 2018 classes will begin August 27, 2018, which follows our traditional start date of one week prior to Labor Day.
• The course drop, pass/no pass and withdrawal deadlines will be determined, approved and announced before July 2018.

The proposed and tentative academic calendars for 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 also have been posted following the current calendar guidelines.
