Welcoming Eric Wharton

ERM is pleased to announce Eric Wharton will be joining the team as the new Fire Safety Specialist.

Eric comes to CMU from a position as an Environment Health and Safety Technician with Westinghouse in Madison, PA. As part of his safety responsibilities, Eric served on the fire brigade for the plant, ensuring operational readiness of fire protection equipment and responding to emergencies as a firefighter and first aid responder. Eric also has experience as a code enforcement officer with Reserve Township.

Eric's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Administration from Eastern Kentucky University where he completed an internship with the Ashland City Fire Department in Tennessee as a fire safety intern and firefighter. Eric currently serves as a volunteer firefighter with the Upper Saint Clair Fire Department.
