Bio

Michael Carriger is the Director of Executive Education for the Center for Executive Education in Technology Policy, Engineering and Public Policy, College of Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University.  Formerly Executive Director for Instructional Innovation and the Program Director for the Masters of Science in Strategic Human Resource Management Program at Sacred Heart University.  He earned his Doctor of Management Degree from the University of Maryland, University College.  He directs efforts at developing and implementing innovative instructional technologies in both in-class and online courses.  He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on various topics in education, psychology, and management.   His research interests include instructional technology, management education, leadership development, leadership communication, employee engagement, and human resources as a strategic business partner. Formerly he worked as Director of Education for a technology learning center, academic program director for a large university, and an HR and OD consultant for a medium-sized communications company.
