Emergency Preparedness and Response Core Team

Members of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Core Team are comprised of leaders from university departments or their designees who make strategic coordination/ decisions necessary to support the full Emergency Preparedness and Response Team and Executive Management Team. Members assess each event and determine what additional team involvement is needed based upon the nature of the situation. The Emergency Preparedness and Response Core Team has the authority to assign university resources and make decisions to provide the most efficient response and recovery possible.

Emergency Preparedness and Response Full Team

The Emergency Preparedness and Response Full Team provides coordination and control infrastructure that is required to address the logistical, fiscal, planning, operational, safety, and campus issues.

Emergency Operations Center

The Emergency Operations Center (EOC), virtual or physical, serves as central command hub for the EPRT. The EOC is a facility or virtual meeting that allows the EPRT to collaborate on strategic direction and operational decisions leaving tactical decisions to incident response teams. It can also collect, gather, and analyze data; make decisions that protect life and property; maintain continuity of the organization within the scope of applicable laws; and disseminate those decisions to all concerned agencies and individuals.
