Gender, Relationships, Health Lab - Carnegie Mellon University

Welcome to the Gender, Relationships, and Health Lab

We do research with college students, people from the community, and people who face various chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.  We use a variety of methods, ranging from experimental research in the lab to on-line surveys, to ecological momentary assessment methods, to longitudinal field studies.  The people in the picture on the left are staff who are employed to carry out these research projects.  In addition to the staff, graduate students and undergraduate students have the opportunity to become involved in all levels of research (picture on right). Undergraduates who are seniors and meet the college requirements have the opportunity to conduct an honors thesis in these areas.  Read about the studies, and contact us if you have any questions.
