You are invited to enroll in a unique new summer study abroad experience in one of France’s most exciting and creative cities - Nantes. This 6-week summer course in design and immersive digital creation offers the opportunity to collaborate with local artists and create site-specific work that will be exhibited and open to the public. 

This program is tailor-made for undergraduates seeking cultural immersion and hands-on learning experiences. During your time in Nantes, you'll have the opportunity to engage in French language classes and digital design workshops, meet with local creatives, work alongside students in design and architecture, and enjoy the city's sights, sounds, and artistic culture.

Whether you're a seasoned French speaker or just beginning to learn the language, our program caters to all proficiency levels. In fact, no prior French study is required! The prestigious IES - Institute for European Studies - will support your language learning, while instructors in Modern Languages and IDeATe will help you engage with immersive media projects and digital works and help you bring your ideas to life in a playful, supportive, and inspiring environment.

You will explore the city's cultural landmarks and vibrant arts scene and interact with the creative community of Nantes. We know you'll form lasting connections as you expand your horizons, preparing you for travel, expanding your ideas, and opening opportunities for future collaboration.
