Bio
As an undergraduate attending CMU since 2019, Riley majors in Francophone history, as well as pursuing an International Relations major, and a Decision Science minor. She was born and raised in the Bay Area, by Australian and Ecuadorian parents.
Riley attended bilingual French primary and secondary schools (International High School, San Francisco), receiving the French Baccalaureate of Sciences, OIB and IB English honors diplomas in 2019.
Riley worked previously gained work experience as a French-speaking sales office assistant at JCB wines, in Napa, California. Riley also performed as a TA for French course 82-104-A at CMU. She is currently employed as a CMU-student research assistant under Dr. Mame-Fatou Niang, as they work on the creation of the Center for Black European Studies and the Atlantic (CBESA).
