Bio

David's mission is to assist faculty, staff, and students move research and technology originating from Robotics Institute (RI) and Software Engineering Institute (SEI) into the marketplace.

Prior to coming to CMU in 2014, David had held several positions & titles in various startups, public companies, and government agencies, from “Lead Hardware Development Engineer” to “Director of Business Development” to “Co-Founder”. His interest in both technology and business drew him to his role here at CMU.

David has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and B.A. in Theater from Case Western Reserve University, a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, and an M.B.A. from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
