Why give?
Carnegie Mellon University's McWilliams Center for Cosmology and Astrophysics is a global leader in exploring the universe through data science, artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.
Since 2007, its members — who are leaders in the field of galaxy surveys and theoretical and computational frameworks — have produced pioneering astrophysics and cosmology research and are poised to lead the data revolution sweeping the field of astronomy.
Over the next decade, with your support, a range of complementary observations — from radio to gamma rays, gravitational waves, and neutrinos — will enable investigations in previously inaccessible regimes and allow us to address some fundamental open questions in our current understanding of the universe.
Your gift to the McWilliams Center expresses your commitment to innovation and collaboration. We encourage you to direct your gift to our priority fund. Learn more about ways you can help unlock the universe.
