For the acclaimed Theater Masters fifth annual “Take 10” MFA graduate playwriting competition, more than 100 10-minute plays were submitted from “the top graduate playwriting programs in the country,” according to Julia Hansen, the organization’s founder and artistic director. The nine winning entries were recently performed off-Broadway. Among them was “Ten Minutes to Boston,” by Liz Ellison (A’11), in which two strangers meet at a bus terminal and their conversation leads to some startling self-revelations.
