This past summer, President Barack Obama chose Carnegie Mellon to address the state of the economy. In his remarks, at Wiegand Gymnasium, he thanked "the entire Carnegie Mellon community, for welcoming me once again, and for the terrific work that [President Jared Cohon] and the administration, faculty, and staff do here each and every day."
