This was an interdisciplinary bash on the grandest of scales—Carnegie Mellon's annual commencement last May. Nearly 3,400 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees were conferred, including degrees in Pittsburgh, Silicon Valley, and Qatar, among other international programs.
