When Forbes magazine went looking for its top “30 under 30” in 12 categories ranging from technology to entertainment to law, the words Carnegie Mellon kept appearing in the choices. In fact, a total of seven alumni and students made Forbes’ lists of “ultra-impressive up-and-comers.”

Entertainment:

  • Chris DeLeon (CS’07), game developer at chrisdeleon.com

Science and Innovation:

  • Chris Harrison (CS’12), interfaces developer
  • Heather Knight (CS’12), chief executive at MarilynMonrobot

Technology:

  • Stuart Anderson (CS’04,’08,’11), software engineer at Twitter
  • Eric (TPR’06,’07) and Susan Gregg (TPR’06) Koger, co-founders of ModCloth
