A man with chest pains is rushed to an emergency room in Abu Dhabi. At the hospital, the healthcare team consults the patient’s electronic medical records and monitors his condition using state-of-the-art imaging technology, an integrated plan of care that is the first of its kind in the Middle East. This is the experience that Marc Harrison (HNZ’07), CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, hopes patients will have when the facility opens in 2013. In addition to his work abroad, Harrison still contributes to the medical community in the United States. He was recently named to the American Medical Group Association’s Board of Directors, which represents more than 125,000 members.
