The Obama administration promises a lot of changes to America's technology superstructure. With issues ranging from 'Net neutrality to national broadband access on the agenda,' the president needs people to strategize and implement changes. Fortunately, Jon Peha, the new Chief Technologist for the Federal Communications Commission is no stranger to Capitol Hill, having extensive experience addressing telecom and e-commerce issues with Congress. Peha, a Carnegie Mellon engineering and public policy professor, also helped to launch a U.S. government interagency program to assist developing countries with information infrastructure.
