Being named #1 in the U.S. News & World Report 2008 College Rankings should be a big deal. But for Milton Cofield, executive director of the Tepper School’s undergraduate business program, it was no surprise. Tepper’s management information systems program has been receiving top rankings from the publication since before his arrival seven years ago. Even so, he was “really happy” when he heard this year’s news. The University also had three top 10 overall rankings—graduate engineering: #6; undergraduate business: #7, and undergraduate engineering: #9. —Melissa Silmore (TPR’85)
