The Robotics Academy, part of the Robotics Institute and leader in the use of robotics as a teaching tool, recently launched a co-branded educational curriculum with LEGO Education International. The curriculum, designed to be used with the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT® uses robotics to teach subjects such as science and math, according to Robotics Academy Director Robin Shoop. Shoop reports that since the curriculum designed for middle school and high school students launched in August 2006, sales have already reached 400 CDs nationally and 1500 internationally since August 2006.
