Companies founded by alumni and students rang the opening bell for the NASDAQ stock market twice in August. Color Kinetics, founded by electrical and computer engineering grads George Mueller (E'93) and Ihor Lys (E'91, '93, '98), opened the market August 7. Color Kinetics is a leading innovator of LED lighting systems and technologies.

On August 11, the Global Moot Corp® winner—a Tepper School team—rang the bell as one of its prizes from this annual "Super Bowl of Business Plan Competitions."
