Not every Carnegie Mellon student would willingly endure a fifth year of bleary-eyed, late-night study sessions and stress-riddled finals, no matter how fun barbecues on the Cut may be. Architecture students, however, are not your average Tartans. They often sport their mandatory fifth-year status like a badge of pride, a testament to their dedication. DesignIntelligence just gave them another reason to carry their heads high. The respected publication ranked the School of Architecture's undergraduate program seventh in the nation, alongside schools such as Cornell University and the Pratt Institute.
