Frequently Asked Questions

Once the primary student has submitted the application form, including uploaded documents, the faculty mentor will receive an email with a link to the form.  The mentor will upload the letter of recommendation here.

If the student collaborators and/or faculty mentor did not receive the confirmation emails, please contact Jen Weidenhof.

Please note the maximum funding amounts on the corresponding websites for each type of award.  The funding amount for ISURG, SURG, and SURG-Flex should match the amount shown on your budget.

Please contact your faculty mentor to discuss why the application was rejected.  If your mentor agrees to approve your application request, then you may resubmit the application form and another email will be sent to the mentor for uploading the letter of recommendation.

Please keep the confirmation email for further reference to your application.  If there is a problem with the application, we may need to reference the grant/proposal number.
