International Opportunities & Networking Virtual Event

On Wednesday, April 5, from 9 to 11:59 p.m., check out a virtual networking event focused on international opportunities! This event is for CMU's international student population or any student interested in career opportunities outside the United States. Employers in attendance will have locations or employment opportunities outside the United States. This is a great opportunity to connect with employers across the globe to discuss internships and full-time roles. Learn more and register on Handshake.

Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week

Celebrate! All week long, the Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Affairs will be celebrating our graduate and professional students with great events. Join other grad and professional students at an informal "Meet, Greet, & Eat" event on Thursday, April 6, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., in the Connan Room in the Cohen University Center. Be sure to RSVP in advance! What We Collect: Three Major Gifts

Bloom where you're planted! From April 6 to June 30, come check out the International Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration series on the 5th floor of the Hunt Library. Whether working alongside botanists for scientific and horticultural publications or preparing artworks for collectors, galleries or commercial use, artists throughout the centuries have added their perspectives to portraying plants and have made lasting contributions to the botanical record and the history of art. Learn more about the art and the exhibit.

Carnegie Mellon Night at the Symphony

Scotty goes to the Symphony! On Friday, March 31, at 6:30 p.m., join fellow Carnegie Mellon students, alumni, friends, staff and faculty for a reception and performance to celebrate the partnership between Carnegie Mellon University and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Ticket prices are offered at an exclusive discount for Carnegie Mellon University and include a pre-concert reception for all Carnegie Mellon University students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and their guests. Learn more about this event.

Slaystainable Styles

Join Sustainable Earth and Thrifty Mellon on Tuesday, April 4, from 2 to 6 p.m., on The Cut for Slaystainable Styles. There will be a pop-up thrift store where donated clothes will be available for purchase. You can mix and match articles to create your own sustainable style and come dressed in your best thrifted outfit to be showcased in the second-hand fashion photo shoot. Be prepared to thrift, pose, and slay sustainably. Learn more about this event.

Vintage Pittsburgh

The 'Burgh goes retro! On Saturday, April 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., old is new again at the History Center's ninth annual Vintage Pittsburgh retro fair. Presented in partnership with the Neighborhood Flea, you're invited to shop 'til you drop for far-out finds and groovy goods. Dozens of local makers and vendors will be on-site at the Heinz History museum to sell one-of-a-kind clothing, accessories, home décor, vinyl records, and more! After you shop, take a step back in time by visiting Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, snap a selfie in front of a giant ketchup bottle in the Heinz exhibit, and discover how Pittsburgh changed the world inside the Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation exhibit. Learn more about this event.

Spring Flower Show: Five Senses of Splendor

Spring is in the air! From now until April 16, come check out stunning floral displays at Phipps Conservatory. This year's show features a giant perfume bottle, harmonious chime canopies, a cascading fountain and more, all surrounded by blooms in a rainbow of shades. Your senses are sure to be delighted! Please purchase tickets in advance.

2023 Opening Day At PNC Park

Play ball! The Bucks are back in the 'Burgh for their home opener against the Chicago White Sox on Friday, April 7, at 4:12 p.m. Head down to PNC Park to watch the game and see one of the best baseball parks in the country. Whether you love baseball or you want to explore the new Riverwalk, Pirates games have something for everyone. Learn more and purchase tickets in advance.
