Amy Kuhmichel on having fun

photo of Amy KuhmichelEven though the academics may be demanding, you will need to take a break to have some fun.

The weekends are a great time for this. Carnegie Mellon has plenty of options. There is everything form 13 varsity sports, 13 fraternities and 4 national sororities, multiple minority and service oriented organizations and intramural sports happening year round. Many of these groups are organized by students to make sure students will enjoy them.

There is such an array of weekend events that any personality can find a good time. My typical weekend lately has been hanging out with my boyfriend at his fraternity house, catching a new release in the UC or spending time with friends around the dorm baking cookies, watching tv, and just having a good time.
