HOW DO I APPLY TO BHA, BSA, or BCSA?

Students
may enter the BHA, BSA, or BCSA program in one of two ways: as an
incoming freshman, or as an internal transfer student. Over half
of the students enter the programs as internal transfer candidates.
Internal transfer students have the same admission requirements
as incoming freshmen.
Students interested in the BHA program must apply and be admitted
to both the College of Fine Arts and the Dietrich College of Humanities and
Social Sciences. Students interested in the BSA program must apply
and be admitted to both the College of Fine Arts and the Mellon
College of Science. Students interested in the BCSA program must
apply and be admitted to both the College of Fine Arts and the School
of Computer Science. BHA, BSA, and BCSA applicants must submit an
essay of interdisciplinary intent. These programs are competitive,
therefore not all students admitted to both colleges are selected
for BHA, BSA, or BCSA.
