The university search tool utilizes description meta tags and content keywords to find requested information through the header search bar on official Carnegie Mellon websites (cmu.edu/). Search functionality is embedded into the Content Management System (CMS) site templates. Non-CMS sites that are published to cmu.edu/, such as those in AWPS, may request to embed search functionality into their pages.
