Xiao Liu's dissertation work that studies overdraft fees in banking and suggests innovative pricing and product design strategies with big data won several prestigious awards including: Winner, MSI Alden G. Clayton Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Competition 2014, Winner, ISMS Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Competition 2014, Winner, William W. Cooper Doctoral Dissertation Award in Management Science 2015. Xiao Liu was a Ph.D. student at the Tepper School of Business and is now an assistant professor at New York University.
