
Carnegie Mellon University Courses
Periodically, Dr. Deborah Lange offers a course through the Carnegie Institute of Technology (CIT) at Carnegie Mellon University titled, “Pittsburgh Brownfields: Where the Past and Future Meet.” Engineering, public policy, architecture, and history students consider the complex and interdisciplinary issues involved in actual brownfield developments and compile the experience and expertise of the region in case studies. In the Spring 2007 course, students developed posters illustrating the elements of their respective case study.
