K&L Gates Conference on Ethics and AI

On June 21-22, 2023, the K&L Gates Conference on Ethics and AI took place at Carnegie Mellon University.

In 2016, the firm established the K&L Gates Endowment for Ethics and Computational Technologies at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). As part of their relationship with the university, they collaborate to host the CMU and K&L Gates Conference on Ethics and AI, which features sessions on the design and governance of responsible AI systems and the ethics of generative AI.

Among the speakers were former U.S. Congressman Mike Doyle, Professor Rayid Ghani, and Professor Illah Nourbakhsh, as well as many others.
