Pittsburgh Mobility Collective Launches Move PGH

Metro21, alongside Traffic21 and members of the Pittsburgh Mobility Collective, unveiled Move PGH on Friday, July 9, 2021. The Pittsburgh Mobility Collective is a new initiative but it is rooted in a longstanding commitment by city leaders to make Pittsburgh a great place to live, work, and visit.

The PMC is leveraging private investment to build Pittsburgh a better transportation system that will connect:

  • Port Authority transit services,

  • shared electric scooters and bicycles,

  • expanded carshare,

  • new carpool services,

  • mobile payment for Port Authority transit,

  • simple ways to plan trips from A to B for use in one mobile app,

  • and convenient available at up to 50 on-street locations known as “Mobility Hubs

The aim of the Pittsburgh Mobility Collective is to serve the people of Pittsburgh quickly for today and tomorrow by providing a connected range of mobility options and infrastructure so Pittsburghers can easily and affordably travel from point A to B and back again.
