Justice and Technology Seminar Series
On Wednesday, September 22, 2021 Metro21 hosted the first of three hybrid seminars in the Justice and Technology Seminar Series. Moderated by Metro21 Executive Director Karen Lightman, this will be the first of three hybrid seminars to discuss equitable, sustainable and trustworthy outcomes in justice and smart cities technology and featured:
- Lilian P. Coral, Director, Knight Foundation
- Rayid Ghani, Professor, Carnegie Mellon University
- Kim Lucas, Assistant Director, City of Pgh DOMI
- Marimba Milliones, President & CEO, Hill Community Development Corp
Although the seminar was cut short due to a fire alarm in Heinz College, Metro21 and in-person attendees and panelists were able to continue the conversation outside of the building, to engage with the attendees and answer questions on a more intimate level.
