CMU Spinout Roadbotics Nominated for Two Awards

Roadbotics, a CMU spin-out company co-founded by Metro21 faculty member Christoph Mertz, has been nominated for two awards.

The Pittsburgh Technology Council's Tech 50 Awards honors technology innovation in our region. At the virtual event, they will take a deeper dive into the Finalist companies and CEO of the Year Finalists to learn what makes them successful and see how they have exemplified the 2020 event theme: REDEFINE. RECHARGE.  Roadbotics has been nominated in the Data Science category.

Since 2014, the Pittsburgh Smart 50 Awards recognize the top executives of the 50 smartest companies in the Greater Pittsburgh region for their ability to effectively build and lead successful organizations. All 50 winners will be honored at a special celebration, and three organizations will receive specialty awards for their achievements in three category areas – innovation, impact and sustainability. Additionally, all guests will be treated to a keynote address on what it takes to lead a successful “smart” company.
