CMU and Allegheny County Airport Authority Sign MOU

Pittsburgh International Airport and Carnegie Mellon University are enhancing traveler experiences and airport operations through a partnership to develop new systems and technologies for the aviation industry. 

Carnegie Mellon University and the Allegheny County Airport Authority announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, committing to expanding current research and education collaboration between the two parties. The MOU calls for the creation of an official liasion at each organization to facilitate communication and coordination on projects related to air service and travel innovation. As part of the agreement, the Airport Authority will provide access to facilities, data, workspace, and staff resources, as needed. Both parties will pursue their mutual interests, leading the way in research and innovation.
