Metro21 Faculty Featured at PA AV Summit

On October 25-26, 2022, Metro21 attended the Fifth Annual Pennsylvania Automated Vehicle Summit at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA.  

This year's summit featured several Metro21 faculty and researchers from Mobility21 which included:

• Dr. Allante Whitmore, Director of Autonomous Vehicle Innovation at SAFE
• Dr. Sarah Fox, Assistant Professor in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at CMU
• Dr. Destenie Nock, Assistant Professor of Engineering & Public Policy and Civil & Environmental Engineering

The PA AV Summit took the discussion of automated vehicles to the next level by including highly important topics of emerging workforce and ensuring equity and sustainability of automation.  It provided an opportunity to showcase Pennsylvania's leadership in the automated vehicle industry and sought to answer questions about AV technology, as well as stir thoughts and discussion to drive Pennsylvania forward in vehicle automation technology, workforce, equity and sustainability.
