Congratulations to the Class of 2022

Metro21 celebrates the Heinz College class of 2022 graduates, with a special congratulations to our interns who have provided their time and efforts over this past year.

Gisselt Gomez obtained her Master of Science in Public Policy & Management, with dual concentrations in smart communities and urban and regional economic development.  She plans to work in a role adjacent to the CivicTech, GovTech, and Smart Cities industries as a data analyst, technology specialist, or policy consultant with the goal of contributing meaningfully to shaping cities and the built environment in a more nuanced, equitable, and sustainable manner.

Hailey Lenn Gordon received her Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and has accepted a role as director of the STEM Pathways Program at Boston University, where she will help bring unique STEM opportunities to Boston high school students, mentorship opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students at the University, and hopefully help to establish partnerships with local STEM, biotech, and synthetic biology companies in the Greater Boston area to support the STEM Pathways mission.

Mary Kubinski received her Master of Science in Public Policy & Management. She has accepted a position with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) as an analyst.  Mary plans to continue learning about program evaluation and federal policies at the GAO while applying the skills she learned during her time at Heinz College.

Sachin Srivastava received his Master of Science in Public Policy & Management and has been accepted to represent Carnegie Mellon University at the 7th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings on Economic Sciences in Lindau, Germany.  After that, Sachin plans to pursue his Ph.D.

Yashasvi Tulchiya received her Master of Urban Design, City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning, Computation, Ecology and Policy Making.  She is currently employed with Solomon Cordwell Buenz as a technical planner in Chicago, IL.
