Smart Loading Zones Launch Event

The City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility & Infrastructure, Pittsburgh Parking Authority and Automotus launched the Smart Loading Zones program on Monday, April 25, 2022 in downtown Pittsburgh.

Commercial and app-based delivery is growing rapidly, leading to increased congestion, emissions, and safety hazards in urban areas.  To address this challenge, the City of Pittsburgh is launching a one-year pilot with curb management company Automotus to create more efficient and safe curbside loading zones.
