We offer a variety of services to improve outreach to your audience.

• Faculty research/lab sites - MCS Tech Services maintains centralized servers for hosting departmental websites.  In a WordPress environment, there many options on how research and lab sites can appear and function. Chemistry Lab Sites Biological Sciences Lab Sites
• Event sites - similar to research/lab sites, MCS also provides free host space to any faculty member holding a workshop or conference.  The combined tools of WordPress and Indico, your event website can be as simple or complex as you need, while still maintaining a professional appearance.  Event Sites

• Digital Signage - MCS uses "Screenly OSE" to manage the digital signage you see around our buildings. If you would like content to be added to a particular screen, contact MCS Communications.  If you would like to set up a new screen, contact MCS IT Support.
• Conference Management - MCS provides access to "Indico", by CERN. Indico allows you collect registration information, call for abstracts, and ticket purchases for your conference, lecture, or event.  CONFERENCE REGISTRATION SITE
• Intranet - The MCS and departmental intranets host a substantial amount of resources and functions to be the premiere stop for information.  Everything from how to get around Mellon Institute to downloading templates for your event namebadges and power point slides to faculty policies. • Hybrid Meeting Services - You can host a hybrid meeting in any MCS room using our Zoom Carts, or the built in Zoom Room functionality of several rooms. This is especially useful for thesis defenses when an advisor is travelling. Request Training
• Google Group Mailing Lists - A replacement for Mailman. Google Groups allow you to easily create and manage mailing lists.  Google Groups
• Training - We have several resource links on the Intranet; however, if preferred, we offer basic training for Wordpress, Timely Calendar, Basecamp. Request Training
• Image Bank - Debuting in the Fall of 2019, the MCS Image Bank is a photo repository for faculty & staff to upload and download images and graphics to be shared and used in publications, websites, conferences, etc. Image Bank
