Rickston Pinto

Bio

Rickston is a second-year student studying Information Systems Management at Heinz College. Before joining Heinz, he worked as a software engineer and studied engineering in his undergrad. He came to Heinz on seeing how the MISM program combined both his interests in technical and economic topics.

On coming to Pittsburgh, he took coursework in public policy, which further inspired him to study the field. Last semester, he served as an editor for Heinz Journal and enjoyed reviewing the article he worked on. This inspired him to continue on as a head editor.

Outside of school, Rickston volunteers as the president of his church's graduate student/young adult group, where he oversees activities and guides initiatives. This has been a rewarding experience in fostering community.
