Research Focus

In our research group we employ judgment and decision making and behavioral economics to examine health behavior (such as vaccination and healthy eating), prosocial behavior (such as blood donation, cooperation in games, gift giving, and environmental behavior), intertemporal choice (such as savings behavior), and policy decisions (such as allocation of scarce healthcare resources).

Professor Gretchen Chapman is a faculty member in the Social and Decision Sciences Department in Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences.  Along with graduate and undergraduate students she studies the psychology of decision making.
