Tartan Testing: Important Scheduling Updates for Week of Feb. 8

Dear Members of the Pittsburgh Campus Community,

Each week, we continue to ramp up the Tartan COVID-19 Asymptomatic Testing Program and have increased the number of community members invited to participate. Simultaneously, we also are implementing a number of measures to increase the number of appointments available. 

As we near the start of hybrid instruction on February 15, we want to be sure that all students in Pittsburgh as well as faculty and staff who will be delivering in-person instruction have had the opportunity to be tested at least once this week or next week. To ensure we can accomplish this, we are adjusting who is invited to participate in Tartan Testing for the upcoming week of February 8. 

Appointment invitations for next week will only be sent to Pittsburgh-based students and the faculty and staff delivering in-person instruction, who either:

If you are not a member of these groups, you will not receive an invitation for next week  so that we can accommodate those who still need a test prior to February 15. 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to ramp up the Tartan Testing Program. We will continue to provide regular updates on the status of the Tartan Testing Program as we work toward our goal to provide our Pittsburgh-based faculty, staff and students access to Tartan Testing each week.
