The Center for Computational Finance facilitates interdisciplinary research in quantitative methods applied to finance.  Faculty belonging to the Center are drawn from across the Carnegie Mellon campus.

The Center hosts lectures and events that draw together faculty from multiple departments.  Among these is the Nash Lecture Series, which brings to campus distinguished researchers who have applied mathematical methods to solve problems in finance.  Past lecturers include the Nobel Laureates Harry Markowitz and Robert Merton.
