Assessing Your Approach to Teaching
Who decides the purpose of teaching and how to do it? Even within a discipline, philosophies on theory, application, critical thinking, learning how to learn, fostering social change, helping students mature, and more are numerous. In this workshop, we will:

• examine some theoretical teaching paradigms
• introduce a tool to help you reflect on your own approach to teaching
• strategize how to better align your teaching behaviors and goals

This seminar can serve as a starting point for writing your teaching philosophy statement.
