Tepper School of Business alumni recently claimed the fifth spot on Forbes Magazine’s listing of “The Most Satisfied B-School Graduates.” The listing is a compilation of 5,000 survey responses received from the Class of 2006 at more than 100 business schools. Respondents (graduates) provided insight relating to their satisfaction in three areas: MBA education; preparedness relative to other MBA graduates; and current job status. The overall satisfaction was determined by averaging the individual categories. The Top 10 schools are included in a slideshow at Forbes.com.
Environmental Health & Safety has announced three additional AED/CPR training classes:

A new Weight Watchers at Work session begins Feb. 8. The cost is $39.95/month, which includes access to e-tools. Twenty members are needed to start the new session. Carnegie Mellon's annual alcohol and drug policy brochure is available online at http://www.studentaffairs.cmu.edu/dean/publications/2011-2012-alcohol-and-drug-brochure.pdf. The university takes seriously its obligation to ensure community members understand Pennsylvania law and the university’s policies and expectations regarding alcohol and other drugs. The brochure also provides information on the support available for anyone in need. This publication was compiled as a resource by staff in the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs. The Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children's Media at Saint Vincent College has launched Out-A-Bout, a new iPhone app for children between the ages of 3 and 5 to encourage physical activity, outdoor play, early literacy and parent-child interaction. The app, developed in part by the Entertainment Technology Center, is the first in a series of digital media apps being created through the Early Career Fellows program. The Graduate Student Service and Teaching Award nominations are now open and will be due on Friday, Feb. 10. The committees would greatly appreciate your support in soliciting and submitting nominations of graduate students who have excelled in teaching or service so that their efforts can be recognized by the university community. Undergraduates from any course of study who would value firsthand public policy experience are invited to apply to CMU’s Washington Semester Program (WSP), sponsored by the university's Center for International Relations and Politics. In this semester-long program, students live, work and study in Washington, D.C., coming into direct contact with political, business and community leaders, and learning about the most pressing policy issues of the day. Housing and Dining Services recently upgraded its point of sale (POS) terminals (cash registers with touch screen monitors) in its dining facilities and are selling the units they've replaced.
