Scott directs the social media strategy for Carnegie Mellon's University Communications & Marketing division, while collaborating across campus to benefit the university as a whole. He has nearly two decades of social media experience, which he has shared with millions of people around the world through a longtime nationally syndicated column and radio show. A former journalist, Scott came to Pittsburgh from New Jersey to attend college at Point Park. Later, he met his wife at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Scott could very well have been destined to work at a university where space is such a focus, because he and his wife and 7-pound chihuahua, Pren Pren, reside in Moon Township.
